This is why I choose to combine physical fine art with NFTs
If you’re curious about my fine art and why I have chosen NFTs, please read all about the upsides that make this combination unique and great for art collectors. In this Q&A style blog, I explain everything you need to know:
Why connect physical fine art with NFTs?
Not familiar with NFTs? We got you, please proceed and scroll to the NFT FAQ lower on this page to learn about the wonderful innovation that is transforming the world of art. Collecting, keeping, and selling art in this new modern way is the way to go.
If you are familiar with NFTs, then you can proceed to the next part to learn more about how we use NFTs to make our fine art unique, safe, and valuable.
Why do you use NFTs with your art?
If you purchase an artwork of Marcus Musashi, it will come as a physical artwork (the museum quality frame and print), and also with the NFT (the digital verification).
The unique formula that makes collecting Marcus Musashi's artwork so valuable lies in the combination of museum-quality fine art and NFT technology. You receive a physical art piece of the highest quality, accompanied by digital verification. This fusion makes it ideal for buying, holding, and reselling these exceptional works.
Unique upsides to the Marcus Musashi NFT?
An NFT can have many unique utilities and upsides, and in this case, it comes with these interesting perks:
+ Be the very first to know of new artworks
+ You are a proud owner of a super limited fine artwork and NFT
+ You support the art, the journey, and future artworks of the artist
+ Buyers get access to an exclusive club of fine art buyers
+ You will receive a free copy of future coffee table books
+ You can access future galleries and exhibitions for free
How do you connect the physical art to the NFT?
To authenticate your physical artwork to the NFT, we will send a special file with a subtle edit to our print partner (the #1 printlab in the world). On your limited edition print, the unique NFT code, the autograph of Marcus Musashi, the date and the numbering will be added. This will happen right after purchasing because the fine art is made after the order is complete. The added info will be so subtle and small, that it will hardly be noticeable.
This makes the fine art even more special, as you will have two official markings confirming its authenticity as the real deal. The NFT is verified by the blockchain, and the fine art will have the unique marking that is connected to the NFT by its unique code.
Replicating this art is futile, and thanks to these technological improvements, your artwork is safer and more valuable than ever.
How do I receive my NFT after purchase?
After purchase, you will get an email to verify your physical address to make sure you get the physical art work. And we will also ask for your wallet where we will transfer the purchased NFT to.
For those who don’t know; What is an NFT?
An NFT (non-fungible token) is a unique digital item stored on a blockchain. NFTs can represent almost anything, and serve as a digital record of ownership.
Blockchain technology is revolutionary for digital items. With NFTs, digital items can be provably scarce, openly transferable, and have authenticated ownership. NFTs operate on blockchain technology. The blockchain is basically a large, digital, public record. The most popular blockchains are distributed across many nodes, which is why you’ll hear them described as “decentralized.”
So instead of a central company-owned server, the blockchain is distributed across a peer-to-peer network. Not only does this ensure that the blockchain remains immutable, it also allows the node operators to earn money, instead of a single company. Because the blockchain records and preserves history, it is uniquely positioned to transform provable authenticity and digital ownership.
When someone creates, transfers, buys, sells, or otherwise does something with an NFT, that information all gets recorded on the blockchain. This is what enables authentication.
The new modern way of collecting, keeping and selling art
This record serves as a permanent statement of authenticity that can be viewed or accessed by anyone. Today, when you buy a piece of art or a collector's item, it typically comes with a paper certificate of authenticity, which you must then keep track of forever. It is easily forgotten, lost or destroyed, creating a very fragile system for authenticity. Blockchain’s offer a simple and more secure solution to this long standing issue of proving authenticity.
Let’s say you want to buy a piece of artwork from Banksy. With NFTs, you can see the entire history of that piece, all the past owners, every sale, all the way back to Banksy's’ original creation of the piece. Without NFTs, you wouldn’t know if you were buying the real piece or just a really good fake.
One of the benefits of blockchains is that they are decentralized systems, meaning, they are not controlled by a single entity. This can help to promote fairness and transparency in the distribution and ownership of NFTs. Decentralization offers a layer of protection and transparency through trustless and permissionless transactions.
This technology is revolutionary for collectors, too. Imagine you’re about to buy a concert ticket online— with NFTs, you can trust its authenticity, because of the undisputed blockchain history, instead of relying on the reseller’s word.
NFT safety?
Web3 technology is still new and constantly evolving, so while no single action guarantees protection, there are best practices that can help. The best rule of thumb is that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. Never share your wallet’s seed phrase, be careful when taking actions using your wallet, and make sure to thoroughly evaluate NFTs before buying.
Use your common sense when using crypto, blockchain, NFTs and other new technologies. Doublecheck before you agree on anything.
Screenshot it?
'Can’t I just right-click and save or screenshot the photograph or the NFT?'
Of course, you can save or screenshot an NFT, but that doesn’t make you the owner. Taking a picture of the Mona Lisa doesn’t mean you own it. You could print it out and enjoy the art, but you wouldn’t be able to resell it for its true value. Similarly, you could take a screenshot of a Bored Ape, but that won’t get you on the yacht (the unique utility that makes collecting this NFT extra special).
Similarly, you can screenshot a Marcus Musashi photograph, but the quality of that screenshot will be too low to generate an epic-sized real print. Also, it will not have the unique NFT code, autograph, dating, and numbering that has been given to the print when it's bought. This makes sure that you have the absolute real artwork collected.
How to buy an NFT?
There are multiple marketplaces to buy NFTs, like OpenSea. You can also get NFTs from people who send it themselves to your digital wallet (like MetaMask). To learn the basics of buying an NFT, please check out our partner at OpenSea (which also provides context and media for this page).
After that, please return to our Studio to collect your art.

Why should I buy a NFT of Marcus Musashi?
The unique formula that makes this purchase so valuable is the combination of the museum quality fine art and the NFT. You get a physical art piece of the highest quality, including the digital verification.
This combination makes it perfect to buy, keep and resell these art works.
The upsides?
Also, the fine art of Marcus Musashi is very rare with just a handful of editions per photograph. When these artworks are sold out, they will never be made ever again. This is your chance to own a Marcus Musashi in your space.
To make sure you truly have the real artworks, we carefully curated and figured out how to make sure the art is double-authenticated. The NFT is verified by the blockchain, and the fine art will have a unique marking that is added after the order is made, making sure that you have the absolute real deal. This makes reselling easier, more trustworthy, and professional.
A big plus is also the upsides you gain when you purchase the NFT from Marcus Musashi:
